50th Annual Women’s Retreat September 18-20
We feel excited and privileged as a church to host the 50th Annual Women’s Retreat (formally Ladie’s Advance). At First Christian Church, we place a high value on turning lost people into sold out followers of Christ. With that in mind, a weekend like this is right in line with our mission! Whether you are a seasoned saint or don’t know much about God at all, this retreat is for you. We all need to learn more about how to become sold out followers of Christ!
Our theme this year is “Jubilee” with the four themes of Forgiveness, Freedom, Rest, and Celebration.
Meet our Speaker- Sarah Good
Sarah Good is an executive minister and leader at 2Rivers Church in O’Fallon, MO. With a heart for helping people step into their God-given purpose, she is passionate about equipping and encouraging others to embrace their unique gifts and live on mission.
A natural storyteller, Sarah believes in the power of sharing our journeys—because every story reveals God’s faithfulness and inspires bold steps of faith. She thrives on meaningful conversations, great books, and a good cup of coffee, but nothing excites her more than seeing God at work in people’s lives.
Beyond her leadership role, Sarah is a devoted wife and mom to four incredible kids, ranging from 10 to 20. She brings energy, authenticity, and joy to every space she enters, creating an atmosphere where people feel seen, encouraged, and empowered. Her mission is simple: to help others step confidently into their calling—because when we say yes to God, we step into a life of true purpose and impact.
